Art School's primary purpose is to provide quality art instruction for school-aged students, both homeschool and traditional.  Weekly courses and one-time classes are offered during school hours as well as after school for grades 1-12*, and focus on specific topics, media, or techniques.  Projects are inspired by contemporary artists, crafters, and makers, and students are encouraged to experiment and learn through the creative process.  If your student has an interest in a particular topic, please contact us and we will do our best to add the course to our offerings.

*Fine Arts Credits are available for homeschooling high school students.  Please see our FAQ for more details.

Art School can provide one-on-one or small group art and craft instruction to students from ages 5 to 105.  Allison can create a course or workshop tailored to your needs, and can host the class at Art School or bring the class to your home, business, church, or community space.  Whether it's private drawing lessons for a young budding artist, a laid-back sewing class for you and your friends, a regular weekly art class for a small group of homeschoolers,  or a one-time workshop at a senior center, Art School can help you create a fun, engaging, and educational experience.  Rates are based on number of students, location, and class topic.  Please contact us to discuss your ideas!

Private and small group portfolio prep sessions are designed for advanced and dedicated artists in grades 10-12.  Art School can provide instruction in brainstorming and creating portfolio concentrations, developing advanced techniques and concepts, and photographing and presenting artwork professionally.  Lessons can be tailored to meet your student's specific goals, from receiving Advanced Placement college credit to gaining admittance to college-level art programs.  Hourly rate is based on number of students, materials, and location.  Contact us for more details.
