Art School Policies

Registration Confirmation & Class Details

Upon registering, you will receive confirmation of receipt of payment via email.  You will also receive a welcome email with instructions and class details within 5 business days of the start of the class or event.  Please contact Art School with any questions or concerns, or with accommodations you or your child require.

Class Rules and Expectations

Participants agree to abide by class rules regarding standards of behavior.  These rules include but are not limited to treating students and instructors respectfully, caring for art tools and materials, minimizing damage to class venues, and maintaining a positive attitude.  Art School reserves the right to dismiss any participant who repeatedly violates these rules and expectations.  Participants who are dismissed for violation of class expectations will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Accommodations for Special Needs

Students requiring accommodations for disabilities, learning differences, behavioral concerns, and other special needs must disclose this information to Art School at the time of registration.  Please contact Art School in advance of registration to discuss accommodations.  Art School is happy to individualize instruction or adapt facilities to the best of its ability for any student with special needs or concerns.

Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable.  In the event that you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, contact Art School prior to the start of the class.  Cancellations received within 48 hours of the first class date qualify for a full credit in the amount of the original registration fee to be applied toward a future Art School class or workshop.  Credits are not applicable for use toward private lessons, parties, or private events.  Cancellations received after the start of the class will not be eligible for credit.  Partial or pro-rated credits for missed classes within a multi-week course are not available.

*Art School reserves the right to cancel a class that does not meet course registration minimums (typically 5 students).  If Art School cancels a class for any reason, you may choose to receive a full refund or a credit toward a comparable class, if available.

Use of Course Materials

All curricular materials, projects, instructional and marketing printed materials, and original online resources are the property of Art School and Allison Jarrett, and are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright.  By registering for an Art School class or event, you agree that you will not use, redistribute, or sell this proprietary material in any way whatsoever without the express written permission of Art School and Allison Jarrett.

Liability Waivers

Participants may be required to agree to additional liability waivers provided by the owner or business hosting Art School classes and events.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Art School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.  Art School strives to create a safe and inclusive space for all students, and expects all participants to maintain this environment through respectful interactions with others.  Any Art School participant who does not meet this expectation may be asked to leave the class.  Participants who are dismissed for violation of class expectations will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
